CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES
BEGINNERS : For children ages 0 – 36 Months
PRE-SCHOOLERS : For children ages 3 – 4 Year
PRIMARY I : Kindergarten & 1 st Graders
PRIMARY II : 2nd, 3rd & 4th Graders
JUNIORS : 5th & 6th Graders
EARLITEENS : 7th & 8th Graders
LESSON STUDY : Every Saturday morning, age-specific Sabbath Schools meet to enjoy singing, doing activities and learning bible stories. The various quarterly lesson books are used to teach and bring children closer to God.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: This annual event is geared for children ages 4 – 15. It is one week of bible-oriented activities such as praise songs, games, crafts, learning about God, and yummy snacks. We encourage volunteers aged 16+ to help decorate, lead out, setup and assist each age group.
ANNUAL SPRING FAIR: Fun-filled activities, games, moon-bounce, face-painting, and lots of food!
YOUTH BIBLE STUDY: Meets every Friday between 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the conference room. All juniors, Earliteens, youth and anyone not baptized yet are invited.
ADVENTURE CLUB: The Adventurer program is designed to support parents in assisting children with the challenging task of developing fully as followers of Christ in today’s world.
PATHFINDER CLUB: A worldwide organization of young people sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, it is open to people of any religious persuasion. Youth can volunteer as counselors and mentors. The club requires a uniform, annual fee, training sessions, attendance at camps and an international camp every five years.
MISSION TRIP: Planned and executed by college students, our youth mission trip includes ten days in disaster stricken areas tohelp victim rehabilitation or rebuild homes with Habitat for Humanity.
COMMUNITY SERVICE: SASDAC youth serve the community by feeding the homeless, reaching out to the homebound, and in various other activities.
YOUTH CAMP: Held each summer, our Youth Camp provides an avenue for high school students to make friends and develop a closer walk with God.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES: Youth Ministries also plan a variety of social activities at church and in the local area which are open to community youth as well.
