MISSION STATEMENT
Dorcas Ministry’s mission is to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ and provide compassionate assistance to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our church members and the community.
PROJECTS
HOPE BASKET:
Hope Basket is a thoughtful outreach program that provides essential grocery items in a bag to anyone in need within the church and in the community. This project offers a tangible expression of care and support during challenging times.
This distribution occurs on every Saturday for 15 minutes after church and from 4 pm to 5 pm at the foyer near Dhiraj hall. We also offer this service once a month to four locations in the tribal areas of Chattisgarh, Andhra pradesh, Orissa and Telengana in India.
COMFORT BASKET:
The Comfort Basket is a heartfelt initiative aimed at providing support and solace to bereaved families. By thoughtfully gathering few meaningful items and presenting them in a basket, this gesture offers a tangible expression of love and care. It’s a small but powerful way to share hope and compassion to help families navigate through their sorrow.
GET-WELL BASKET:
Get-well Basket is a thoughtful gesture from Dorcas ministries to show our love to our members who are undergoing health issues. It consists of a small basket with fresh fruits, get-well wishes, and prayers. It’s a tangible reminder of our love, care, and prayers for their healing.
PRAYER LINE:
Our Prayer Line is a dedicated service offering spiritual support to all who need it. It provides a space for individuals to pray with a prayer warrior for any need or challenge. To connect, simply call 301-458-0803 any time.
